Dan Gauthier is the COO and General Counsel at ATLAS. Dan oversees the daily operations of ATLAS, including its investment, finance, legal, and management functions. Dan brings to ATLAS an extensive background in real estate, including acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and syndication, as well as business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and general counsel.

Prior to joining ATLAS, Dan was chief legal officer at a public company investing in real estate in the legalized cannabis industry. In addition, Dan had a diverse private practice representing real estate developers and stakeholders, homebuilders, businesses of all sizes, lending institutions, and more. Dan is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and co-chairs the organization’s Young Leaders Partnership Forum program. Dan holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Arizona State University, where he was a Pedrick Scholar and an articles editor of Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. Dan also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arizona. In his free time, you are likely to find Dan spending time with his wife, daughter, and dogs.
