Founder & CEO
Chris Walton is the Founder & CEO of ATLAS. Chris is a 20-year real estate and restaurant veteran with an extensive background in Development, Acquisition, Construction Management, and National Portfolio-Occupier Management. He is Co-Founder and Co-Owner of XILONEN, a new vegetarian and vegan Mexican Restaurant & OXOMOCO, a Michelin-starred, wood-fired Mexican restaurant; both in Brooklyn, New York. He is also the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of VH2, an international hospitality company based in New York with brands in New York and Tokyo.
Chris graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute’s Classic Culinary Arts Program.
Having been to nearly 40 countries, Chris is a voracious traveler. Whether globetrotting or at home, food is a serious business. Everything is on the menu but Japanese, Mexican and Kansas City BBQ are particularly revered. Along with his wife, Kaycee, Chris endeavors to share all of the best ingredients of life with his three daughters.
Chris is an avid kite/surfer, snowboarder, hiker, and golfer.
